Before Yale:
- Competed in rowing at Auckland Grammar School in Auckland, New Zealand
- Named a NZQA Outstanding Scholar 2024, which is awarded to the top 50 students in New Zealand based on performance on NZQA Scholarship Exams
- Named to the AGS Scholarship Board in 2023 and 2024, which recognizes the top 15-20 students in cohort based on CIE and Scholarship exams
Personal:
- Son of Mark Toner and Rochelle Richardson
- Member of the Astrophysics Society, Yale Fishing and Yale Film Society
