Anthony Walsh joined the Bulldogs in June 2026 after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Colgate. Prior to Colgate, he worked with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program (NTDP), helping guide the U18 team to a gold medal at the 2023 IIHF U18 World Championships.
Walsh began his coaching career at SUNY Fredonia during the 2021-22 season before returning to the collegiate ranks at Colgate.
A former Bulldog captain, Walsh played four seasons at Yale from 2015-19, appearing in 104 career games. He was awarded the Malcolm G. Chace Award following his senior season, recognizing the player who best exemplifies the traditions of Yale Hockey through sportsmanship, spirit, and ability.
Following his playing career, Walsh served as Yale's Director of Hockey Operations during the 2019-20 season. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Yale in 2019 and later completed a master's degree in sports administration from Northwestern University in 2025.
