Biography

2015-16 Captain...Skated in all 32 contests… Second on team with 12 assists… Recorded multiple assists in a game 3 times… Led all skaters in plus-minus rating at +12.

2014-15: Tied for 3rd among defenseman with eight points… Scored in a 2-0 victory over Harvard in the ECAC Playoffs… 2 assists in a win at Union... Edward M. Wright MD Award as Yale''s top scholar-athlete.

2013-14: Played in all 33 games and had five assists... ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

2012-13 (National Championship Season): Played in 23 games including every post-season contest... Scored first collegiate goal against UMass Lowell in Frozen Four Semifinal... Finished with four points overall.

Off the Ice:

  • Worked an on-campus job and studied at London School of Economics last summer
  • Volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club of Waterloo, Iowa
  • Interned as a claims analyst for The Hub Group in 2013

Before Yale:  Skated for Waterloo in 2011-12 and had six goals and 40 points in 74 games… Clark Cup Championship runner-up… Led all USHL defensemen in post-season scoring… Played 35 games for USHL Green Bay in 2010-11… Made it to Clark Cup Championship… Two-time USHL Defensive Player of the Week… Assistant captain for 2009-10 Team Illinois… Had eight goals and 28 points in 35 games for state title team… Played two years for Chicago Mission with one state title and one runner-up season… Hurdler with four track varsity letters at Downers Grove North… Holds three high school records… No. 12 in state with 39.2 in 300m… Two-time conference champion… Three-time sectional medalist… School all-academic team… AP Scholar… Illinois State Scholar… National Honor Society… Spanish National Honor Society… Conference academic Achievement Award… Scholastic Achievement Award in track.
