At Shady Side: Captained the lacrosse and basketball teams his senior year... Awarded varsity letters in basketball (4), football (3), and track (1) as well as being a three-time letterman in lacrosse...All-League basketball player in 2005, 2006, and 2007...2nd team All-MSLA in 2007 for lacrosse...WPSLA champions and State champion Runners-up in 2004.

Personal: Alfonso A. Costa, Jr., son of Alfonso and Mary Costa, is a member of Pierson College with plans to major in economics.
