2017: Played in 10 games... Scooped up 9 ground balls and caused 5 turnovers.

2016: Played in 11 games before suffering season-ending injury… Scooped up 11 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers

2015: Started every game on the Bulldogs'' defense... Helped Yale allow an Ivy-League best 8.11 goals per game... Caused seven turnovers and scooped 12 ground balls.

2014: Played in 2 games.

Off the Field: Interned at Paragon Technology Group (2010)… Interned in the HIV Testing Program at Children’s Hospital in Washington D.C., administered HIV tests and shadowed doctors receiving 100+ hours of community service doing this (2011)… Worked in a lab at Georgetown University, researching the cause and a potential cure for eye cancer (2012)… Worked as assistant lacrosse coach for the MadLax lacrosse team and gave private lessons (2013)… Volunteer with Martha’s Table in Washington D.C., preparing and handing out food to homeless people and elderly people living in retirement homes (2010–2012)

At St. Albans: Four year player on lacrosse and soccer teams, three years on varsity for both sports… Captain of lacrosse team… Soccer team has the record for most wins and shutouts in the school’s history… All-Conference player in both sports, also won Coach’s Award in lacrosse… Soccer team was league champions and D.C. State Champions… National Merit Scholar.

Personal: Camyar Michael Matini is the son of Michael and Sheila Matini… Both parents immigrated to America from Iran when they were young… First member of his family born in the United States… Father attended George Washington and mother attended Tufts University… Picked up soccer at the age of 4 and lacrosse at 7… Has worked as a lacrosse coach, intern at Children’s Hospital… Currently working in an HIV Testing Program… Loves football and is a big Redskins fan… Interested in science and medicine.
