2019: Team captain... First-Team All-Ivy… IL Warrior & New Balance All-America HM… Yale’s Winthrop A. Smith Award for superior conditioning and team play that has served as a team inspiration

2018:  Honorable mention All-Ivy League... Sixth highest goal total on the team, eighth in points... Played in all 20 games... Scooped 28 ground balls... Scored 2 big goals in NCAA Quarterfinal win over Loyola at Hofstra University... Helped Bulldogs go on to Gillette Stadium and beat Albany and Duke for national championship.

2017: Played in 15 games... Had one goal and two assists... Scooped up 13 ground balls... Caused 2 turnovers.

2016: Played in all 16 games… 2 goals and 3 points… Best game was at UMass Lowell with 2-0-2.

Before Yale: Two-year captain of both the lacrosse and football teams at Smithtown East High School (Saint James, N.Y.)… Earned All-American and All-Long Island honors… Started in the midfield of the 2014 and 2015 Suffolk County champions all four seasons… Recipient of the Bob Scott Award from US Lacrosse… Becomes the second Ray Enners Award winner (Jon Reese, ’90), as Suffolk Counties’ Most Outstanding Lacrosse Player to attend Yale… Voted Team MVP as a senior... Started at quarterback for three falls… Twice nominated for the Boomer Esiason Award… Voted team MVP junior and senior seasons… A first-team All-Long Island selection… NYS Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: John Christopher Daniggelis (pronounced Da-na-jealous) is the son of Deborah and John Daniggelis… Sister, Nicole ’16, plays lacrosse at Yale… Interested in a career in investment banking.
