Off the Field:

• Inner City Lacrosse coach to bring lacrosse to the kids in inner city New Haven
• Mentored two kids for a summer, teaching them lacrosse and helping them with school work
• Volunteer for the Hugh O''Brian Youth Leadership group and the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association in Delaware

Before Yale: Two-time captain and four-year letterman at Dover High School… First-team all-state and all-conference in 2013… Played only six games due to injury but still earned all-conference (first team) and all-state (third)… Had 161 caused turnovers and 180 ground balls over his last two seasons (39 games)… Helped team to state quarterfinals in 2013… Played on Team 302 and was selected to play in the MVP and the Hotbeds Tournament All-Star Games… Nike Camp Defensive MVP… 2014 U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American… Played two seasons of soccer at Dover and was MVP of the JV team in 2011… Two-time high school class president… Graduated with 4.0 GPA and earned four scholar-athlete awards… National Honor Society and Principal’s Leadership Award… Governor’s School for Excellence… Boy’s State Conference.

Personal: Ryan Christopher McQuaide is the son of Robyn and David McQuaide… First lacrosse player from Dover High to play Division I… Worked as a coach for Team 302… Mentored and cared for two young boys as a part-time job.
