Matthew Trevithick began helping coach the Yale lightweights in 2020, while attending graduate school at Yale's Jackson Institute for Global Affairs.

He is the founder and CEO of Blank Slate Technologies, a predictive analytics firm.

Trevithick rowed for BU’s varsity 8+, then earned a silver medal at the Head of the Charles Regatta after college. He also was part of the team that helped the Iraqi National Rowing Team win one of Iraq's first medals in the Asian Games.
