3 QUESTIONS FOR SADY-KENNEDY

Biggest soccer influences and why? "Lionel Messi, the greatest player ever to play the sport of futbol. He represents hard work, diligence and complete professionalism. He struggled with a disease as a child and persevered through very difficult times far away from his home, country and family. He is the epitome of humbleness and sportsmanship. His deeds are a testimony to his greatness."

Do you have an idol or hero? "Two if I may. In life Jesus. In the sports world Lionel Messi"

Why Yale? "Because it is my understanding that Yale's inspiring name sits alone in the zenith in the world of academia. Therefore, I am both humbled and honored to have been accepted into the class of 2020; and, pray to God to help me rise to the challenges that I will encounter being among the most scholarly elite of this country. At the same time, being able to play varsity soccer for this coaching staff with the flexibility the program offers, will provide a superb balance between academics and athletics resulting in the accumulation of beneficial results in both departments without hindering either one. As a true believer in the concept of Mens sana in corpore sano, I have always welcomed challenges in my life and my hope is to be able to contribute to the team's success during the next four years in hopes of bringing home a few Ivy League Championships for the Bulldogs."
