Drew Crawford

Drew Crawford, who helped Missouri State to one of the most successful seasons in school history, joined the Yale men’s soccer staff in August of 2022 as an assistant coach.
 
Crawford, who comes to Yale after serving as an assistant coach at Stetson in the spring, spent the 2021 season as an assistant coach at Missouri State University where he was the goalkeeping coach, while also leading the set pieces and throw ins. At MSU, he mentored goalkeeper Michael Creek, who was a second team All-West selection and posted the fourth-best goals against average in the nation. Missouri State finished 17-2 overall, including 10-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
 
Prior to MSU, Crawford spent four years at the University of Akron where he held multiple titles including graduate assistant, Director of Operations, and volunteer assistant coach. He was part of a staff that reached back-to-back NCAA Division I College Cups in 2017 and 2018 with a Mid-American Conference championship in 2019 and MAC tournament championships in both 2017 and 2018.
 
At the youth level, he has served as the Goalkeeping Director for the Internationals Soccer Club out of Cleveland, Ohio for the past 3 years and a staff coach for the Internationals boys MLS Next Academy.

A native of North Canton, Ohio, Crawford earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Akron in 2012 and completed his master’s degree in coaching at UA in 2020. He holds a US Soccer “D” License in addition to a Goalkeeper III diploma from United Soccer Coaches.
