Biggest Soccer Influence? "My biggest soccer influence is Bukayo Saka because he provides the best example of overcoming adversity that I've ever seen from an athlete. Being so young and a black athlete, I relate to him and really admire the way he's been able to recover from such a shattering moment and period of time. Now, he's easily one of the best wingers in the world and that all came from his resilience. I also respect that he still remains humble even after climbing to the top."
Do you have a hero or idol? "My idols are my parents. They have shown how far discipline really goes. They are easily the most hardworking people that I've ever met and I appreciate all of their sacrifices."
Why Yale? "I selected Yale because I was drawn to the idea of diverse people with a wide range of talents learning from and challenging one another. With the reputation Yale has upheld, I know it is full of ambitious and curious people, and the thought of that excites me."

Stannard on Fosu: "Dijon is one of the top players in the country in his position and was recruited by several top programs. He reminds me a lot of one of the best players in our program over the past 10 years, Enzo Okpoye.  Dijon is primarily a center midfielder right now but has also played as a central defender. He is an excellent ball-winner, quality passer, and has a commanding physical and competitive presence on the pitch. His club, Baltimore Armour, always does a great job of preparing players for the transition to college soccer."
