2015: Appeared in eight games… Started against Rhode Island.

2014: Recipient of the Frank Dunne Award, presented to the player, who in the judgment of the coaches, exhibited the greatest improvement throughout the course of the season… Appeared in 10 games and started two.

Off the Field:

• Tutored third and fourth grade students in reading and math weekly over four years of high school at Leal Elementary School, Urbana, Illinois
• Interned with a defense attorney at Novak, Weaver and Solberg, in Urbana, Illinois, and conducted research and case preparation
  
• Accomplished artist, participating in numerous local and regional art shows
  

Before Yale: Three-year starter at Urbana High School… News-Gazette Area Player of the Year… All-state selection and voted the top player in region… First team all-conference selection… Scored six goals and added nine assists as a senior… Selected to the all-state academic first team by the Chicago Fire… Recipient of the team’s most valuable, most dedicated and most aggressive player awards… Helped Urbana to four conference championships and a runner-up finish in the IHSA Class 2A Tournament… Played club soccer for the Chicago Magic PSG… Played in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy U17-18… Played for the Illinois state ODP team and helped them to a third-place finish nationally in 2011.

Personal: Received the Outstanding Volunteer Youth Fundraiser Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals for raising money for Eastern Illinois Food Bank… Tutored elementary school children weekly in reading and math… Volunteered with the Champaign County American Civil Liberties Union and The Daily Bread Soup Kitchen.
