Off the Field: Recipient of Mrs. Dorothy Markle Scholarship, Yale University, presented by the Society of American Military Engineers “in recognition of outstanding leadership, high ethics, and scholarship achievement (2013)…Worked as an intern at Fife Corporation in Edmond, Okla., researching the Chinese corrugating market to create a business model for sales opportunities in China, discovered profit margins were too small to move forward, designed a 3D model of a diaper assembly line in Solid Works using resources from company and Internet databases (summer 2012, fall 2011)… Volunteer with Yale AIDS Support Coalition to engage in social activities with Leeway residents, such as arts and crafts, sports, and music and build up one-on-one "buddy" relationships with individual residents (2013 - present)… Volunteer leader with Athletes in Action to organize community service events like dodge ball and Christmas parties with inner city kids in New Haven, emcee and lead “Big Group” meetings to foster a welcoming environment filled with games and talks from both students and leaders, lead Freshmen small group by analyzing Scripture through a historical, contextual, applicable lens (2010-present)…Counselor at Camp War Eagle in Rogers, Arkansas responsible for the health, safety, and overall experience of 56 teenagers from North West Arkansas (Summer 2011)…Worked as intern in Edmond Water Resource Center Intern in Edmond, Okla., and performed water quality tests to ensure water properties like turbidity, nitrate level, and PH were within the state’s required water quality range, conducted maintenance checks on lift pumps to verify pumps were efficiently operating (summer 2010)… Sunday School Teacher at Trinity Baptist Church teaching 8th graders historical stories and how they apply in an engaging and practical way (2010- 2011)
