2022-23: Finished with a 15-14 record in singles, including 3-4 in Ivy play... Posted a 21-13 doubles record... Earned ITA Scholar Athlete recognition.

2021-22: Won 14 singles matches playing predominantly in the No. 1 position... Advanced to the quarterfinals in singles at the ITA Northeast Regionals in the fall... Ranked No. 69 nationally by the ITA after strong fall season... Academic All-Ivy selection.

2020-21: Season canceled due to pandemic

2019-20: Posted a 10-9 overall record in singles, including a 4-2 mark in the No. 1 position… Ended the season on a four-match winning streak… Won three, three-set matches… Was 11-9 in doubles… Played eight doubles matches in the No. 1 position.
 
2018-19: Finished with an 11-10 singles record… Played four singles matches in the No. 1 position… Finished with a 14-9 doubles record, including a 10-5 mark in the fall.

Before Yale: Five-star recruit on tennisrecruiting.net, currently ranking No. 31 nationally and No. 1 in New Jersey in the class of 2018... USTA National Ranking as high as No. 5... earned USTA Bronze Ball at Boys 18 Doubles National Winter Championships in 2016... earned USTA Bronze Ball at Boys 18 Doubles Indoor National Championships in 2017... 17-0 record at No. 1 singles during senior year of high school season while playing for No. 5-ranked team in New Jersey... Essex County Singles Champion and Player of the Year in 2018... First Team All-State and First Team All-Group 4 as a senior (only year playing high school tennis)... named an "Athlete of the Year" at Essex Awards to recognize leading scholar-athletes... recipient of the Lagowitz Scholar-Athlete Award.

Notes: Michael is the first varsity athlete of his family. In high school, he was a member of the Sports Debate Club and Gender Equality Club. His hobbies include playing soccer, collecting sneakers, and eating pizza.
