Connor Shannahan

Connor Shannahan joined the Yale cross country and track and field staff in December of 2023.
 
Shannahan earned a degree in sport management from Southern Connecticut State University, where he was captain of the cross country and track and field teams. An accomplished runner and leader on the squad, he was named a 2020 Northeast 10 Man of the Year Finalist and earned recognition as an All-Conference, All-Region, and All-New England selection. He was also recognized for his work in the classroom as a Northeast 10 Academic All-Conference honoree. He went on to earn a master’s degree in sports and entertainment management with a concentration in athletic administration from his alma mater in 2022.

Shannahan previously worked for Yale as a facilities and operations assistant and as an intern. In addition to his time at Yale, he held internship positions in facilities, operations and equipment management at Quinnipiac, Southern Connecticut State and UMass.
