2023-2024: Opened up with a first place finish in the long jump at the Yale Season Opener... At Y-D-C he placed second in both the high jump and long jump, jumping 23' 8.75'' in the long jump... Set a 60m PR at the Crimson Elite meet of 7.04... Placed first at the Giegengack Invitational in the long jump with a mark of 24' 2.5''... Placed fourth in the long jump at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships. His mark of 24' 6.5'' moves him to fourth of all time at Yale... Began outdoors at the UCF Knights Invite where in the 4x100m his team ran 41.04 to rank tenth of all time at Yale... Set a 200m PR of 21.63 at the UCONN Dog Fight... Set a 100m PR of 10.74 at the Wake Forest Invitational... At the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships, he placed second in the long jump with a mark of 25' 1.75'' to achieve second team All-Ivy. Also a part of the 4x100m team that ran 40.99 to place fourth. Both of these performances moved him up Yale's top 10... Qualified for the NCAA East First Round in the long jump.
2022-23: Opened up his Yale career with a first place finish at the Yale season opener in the long jump...Competed at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track & Field Championships, placing 16th overall in the long jump...Placed 6th at the UCONN Dog Fight in the long jump...Won the HYOC Meet in the long jump with a new personal record of 7.20m...Placed 4th in the 100m with a collegiate best in the 100m at the 2023 Mark Young Invitational...Placed 10th in the long jump at the Ivy League Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
High School: Team Captain...Second Team All-New Jersey...2022 New Jersey Non-Public B Champion...2021 New Jersey Non-Public B Champion...MKA T&F Boys Athlete of the Year (2021, 2022)...School record in the 100m, 200m, 400m, Long Jump and Triple Jump... Team was 2019 NJSIAA NP-B North Boys Sectional Champions.
Personal: Captain of basketball team junior and senior year...Dad graduated from Harvard Business School, so now has a little bit of Harvard-Yale rivalry within the household. His father was also a long jumper at MIT, and an all-state football player (running back) along with all-state in long jump in high school...Volunteered in a medical outreach mission hosted by ProHealth International over the summer in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. His uncle is the founder of ProHealth, so he spent a lot of time with him this summer in Nigeria visiting different parts of the country. He also got the chance of course to see first-hand the type of change his organization makes across Nigeria and the rest of Africa.
