Highlights from before Yale: Captain of high school sailing team for two years...Racing dinghies on the Long Island Sound for 12 years out of Cedar Point Yacht Club...Racing on big boats for the last 6 years...Took a gap year and lived on a sailboat with parents and younger brother, sailing in the Caribbean, Bahamas, and the East Coast of the US.
Hobbies: Enjoys spending time outdoors (hiking, biking, etc.), playing piano, and spending time with my friends and family.
Favorite thing about Yale: Really excited to get to try all of the different classes and extracurricular activities that Yale offers. Also can''t wait to get to know fellow Yalies and to go to the Yale-Harvard game!
Favorite thing about Yale sailing team: Looking forward to getting to sail with and practice racing against all of the really talented sailors who are on the team, and excited to become part of such a close-knit team.
Random fun fact: Spent five days in the Bermuda Triangle on her boat (which didn''t have a functioning engine), and didn't die.
