High School: First team All-County and All-State selection at the American Heritage School… Selected ESPN Top 63 Senior… Batted .431 with seven doubles and 25 RBI… Team captain as a senior… Helped American Heritage to state championships in 2012 and 2013… Team won district titles and was the regional runner-up in 2014 and 2015.
Travel Team: Played for the Lady Gators Jackson, who qualified for ASA Nationals in each of the last four years and won the state championship in 2013.
Personal: Daughter of Jeffrey and Mary Teems… Community service coordinator for National Spanish Honor Society… Grandfather played baseball for the Army during the Korean War, travelling all over Japan.
