2016: Recipient of the team’s Andy Van Etten Award, which is bestowed upon the player who represents the ideals of Yale Softball that go beyond statistics… Appeared in eight games and batted .250.
High School: First team All-County and All-State selection at the American Heritage School… Selected ESPN Top 63 Senior… Batted .431 with seven doubles and 25 RBI… Team captain as a senior… Helped American Heritage to state championships in 2012 and 2013… Team won district titles and was the regional runner-up in 2014 and 2015.
Travel Team: Played for the Lady Gators Jackson, who qualified for ASA Nationals in each of the last four years and won the state championship in 2013.
Personal: Daughter of Jeffrey and Mary Teems… Community service coordinator for National Spanish Honor Society… Grandfather played baseball for the Army during the Korean War, travelling all over Japan.
