2017: Second team All-Ivy selection as pitcher/utility… Led the team with a .351 overall batting average… Belted a career-best three home runs… Two of her homers came in Ivy play… Had 12 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games… Started 19 Ivy games and batted .315… As pitcher finished with 70 strikeouts, which was the third most in the league… Led the Yale pitching staff in ERA… Struck out a season-high 10 against Jacksonville.
2016: Fifth in the Ivy League with 82 strikeouts, fourth in opposing batting average (.255) and tied for sixth in appearances (25)… Finished with six complete games and two saves… Tossed a two-hit shutout with nine strikeouts against Morgan State… Pitched 14 innings, yielding one earned run in victory over Brown that helped her earn Ivy League Pitcher of the Week honors.
2015: Tied for third in the Ivy League in strikeouts… Her 93 strikeouts were the eighth most in a season in school history and the third most by a freshman… Led the pitching staff in ERA (3.18), wins (6), complete games (9), innings (101.1) and strikeouts… Named Ivy League Pitcher and Rookie of Week after yielding only two earned runs in 23 innings on spring break trip to Florida… Struck out 10 in win over Central Connecticut… Earned first career win by tossing 6.1 scoreless innings against Florida A&M… Notched a save in win over Sacred Heart.
Off the Field:
- Member of the Student Athletic Leadership Team delivering lessons on positive healthy lifestyles and activities to elementary school children
- President of the Varsity Club, where Varsity Athletes promote positive choices and behavior while fundraising for community needs, raising over $10,000 thru community and sports events for research for MS and Cystic Fibrosis and donations to the American Cancer Society and the Wounded Warriors Project and teamed up with a local softball organization to raise funds to bring Christmas to families who lost their homes to ‘Hurricane Sandy’
- Named a National Italian Scholar for Excellence in Italian Culture and Language Studies participating in weekly video conferences with high school students in Italy to engage them in language and culture activities while promoting comparisons to those in America; served as a volunteer Italian language tutor to elementary and middle school students.
Before Yale: NFCA second team All-Northeast Region selection as a senior at Half Hollows Hills High School… Posted a 20-4 record as a pitcher with a 0.65 earned runs average and 318 strikeouts in 161 innings… Tossed two no-hitters, including one perfect game, and 14 shutouts… Had 714 strikeouts in 426 innings in her career… Batted .439 with a slugging percentage of .924 and seven home runs as a senior… Belted 16 home runs and hit .471 in her career… Suffolk County Large School Pitcher of the Year… Three-time league Pitcher of the Year… Three-time all-state selection… League Rookie of the Year as a freshman…Helped lead Half Hollows Hills to the Suffolk County AA Large School championship, the first in school history… Played for Long Island Gold and Elite travel teams.
