Biography

Career: Made 29 appearances in the circle… Two-time recipient of the team’s Andy Van Etten Coaches Award, bestowed upon the player or players who represent the ideals of Yale Softball that go beyond statistics.
 
2020: Appeared in four games and started two… Pitched 3.1 innings and allowed one run in the win over California Baptist… Recipient of the team’s Andy Van Etten Coaches Award.

2019: Started five games in the circle and appeared in 10.

2018: Appeared in eight games and made three starts in the circle.

2017: Appeared in seven games in the circle… Co-recipient of the Andy Van Etten Award… Earned her first career victory by pitching four innings of relief vs. Florida A&M… Allowed only two hits in four innings of relief to earn win against Sacred Heart.

Before Yale: Four-time All-District selection, team most valuable player and offensive player of the year at Lake Highland Preparatory School… Team captain… Helped Lake Highland to district championship… Captain of the Tampa Mustangs 18U team… Posted a 2.02 ERA through 59 innings with a 7-2 record against national level competition with the Mustangs… Had a .326 batting average and a .418 on-base percentage.

Personal: Volunteer at Give Kids the World Village, a non-profit vacation resort for children with life threatening illnesses… Daughter of Charlie and Michelle Baumann… Father was captain of the West Virginia football team before playing in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots.
