Notes: Four-time All-Ivy selection.

2014: Second team All-Ivy outfielder… Finished third in the Ivy League in batting (.380), tied for third in doubles (12), fourth in on base percentage (.433) and stolen bases (11) and sixth in hits (46)… Her 12 doubles tied for the fifth most in a season in school history… Led team in average, hits (46), runs (18), doubles and stolen bases… In 20 Ivy games, batted .350 with six doubles and nine runs scored… Had 14 multi-hit games… Named team’s most valuable player.

2013: Honorable mention All-Ivy selection… 37th toughest player to strikeout in all of Division I softball… Struck out just seven times in 136 official at bats… Her 11 sacrifice bunts were the second most in the Ivy League… Started 45 games in centerfield… One of only five players to start all 20 Ivy League games… Had six multi-hit games, including a 4-for-7 performance against Cornell… Ended the season with a four-game hitting streak.

2012: Honorable mention All-Ivy selection… Named CollegeSportsMadness second team All-Ivy… Led the Ivy League with 11 sacrifice bunts… Tied for 10th in the league with 24 runs scored… Tied for second on team with seven doubles… Fourth in hits (33) and RBI (14)… Started 43 games in centerfield… Batted .281 in league games… Belted her first career home run at Dartmouth… Had six multi-hit games… Season-long six-game hitting streak came early in the season.

2011: Honorable mention All-Ivy selection... Started 40 games in centerfield... Finished fifth on the team in runs (23) and sixth in hits (32)... Batted .321 with three doubles and eight RBI in 20 Ivy League games... First career hit was a single against Loyola, Ill., in the season opener... Went 4-for-4 in the doubleheader with Bryant... Singled home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning in the first game against Penn and then had three more hits and knocked in two runs as Yale completed the sweep... Had six multi-hit games.

Off the Field: Interned at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Environmental Health) performing field work, assisting the Vector Borne Disease Department, testing and inspecting for causes of disease in the greater Los Angeles area; worked with Waste Management Department to develop new recycling techniques, performed headquarters work by assisting in climate change projects to identify possible causes of climate change in Los Angeles, attended training program in emergency preparedness for environmental disasters, worked with and shadowed environmental disaster first responders…worked with various Public Health Departments to understand how they interact with State and Federal agencies (Summer 2011)... Member of Yale Bulldog Sustainability Team... Mentor with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)…Volunteer with BRED (Bring Relief Every Day), a charity that collects excess bread and baked goods from Yale residential college dining halls and walks them over to two halfway houses

Before Yale: Batted .308 with a .446 slugging percentage as a senior at Valencia High School… Valencia was ranked second in the nation and first in California… Helped lead Valencia to its 10th straight Foothill League championship in 2010… Captain of the American Pastime 18-and-under gold team… Named Defensive MVP of the Fireworks Showcase Tournament.

Personal: Student Athlete of the Year at Valencia High School… Gatorade Will To Win Award winner… Mentored special education students in Circle of Friends Organization… Safe School ambassador… Teacher’s aid at Charles Helmers Elementary School… As part of a local orchestra played cello at Universal Studios Hollywood for a Christmas concert… Daughter of Liliana and Henry Balta.
