Swanson last month was selected Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season after leading the conference in digs per set and earned a spot on the All-Ivy First Team. Last weekend in the NCAA Tournament she completed her Yale career with 1,503 digs that put her third all-time in program history.
Arnautou, the Ivy League Player of the Year in 2018, led the Bulldogs in assists per set. ln conference play, ranked second in assists per set (11.00), 10th in digs per set (3.07) and 17th in service aces (0.22). In Ivy League matches, had 34 kills on 83 swings -- hitting .373 and had 10 or more digs in nine matches overall and six Ivy matches.
The Bulldogs in 2018 won their ninth Ivy League title in 15 seasons with a 13-1 league record and earned the program's seventh appearance to the NCAA Tournament. Yale lost its first-round tournament match to Syracuse in three sets last weekend in University Park, Pa.
