Alexandra Bakovic

Alexandra Bakovic became a Yale Assistant Athletic Trainer in January of 2019.

Bakovic serves as a member of Yale Athletics'  Employee Affinity Groups Subcommittee.

Bakovic worked at Colgate for two and a half years before coming to New Haven. There she served as the primary athletics trainer for volleyball, men’s and women’s track and field and cross country, and men’s and women’s swimming. Prior to Colgate Bakovic worked at Jacksonville University covering track and field, cross country, and men’s and women’s rowing.

Bakovic, who earned her master’s degree from Boston University in Health Education in 2015, worked at BU’s clinical education office and as a graduate assistant at Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. She also spent a year as an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coordinator at Tabor Academy in Marion, Mass.

Bakovic, who was born in Bolivia and speaks English and Spanish, graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. She worked with UNH football, track and field and women’s gymnastics as an undergrad.
