Why Yale? "I feel honored to have the opportunity to row and learn alongside the dedicated women I met on campus."
Quote: I do not have a specific quote that immediately comes to mind. The Nike slogan, "Just Do It" is a great motivational quote, as is "Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can." (Arthur Ashe) I get motivated by different things every day, whether it is the sun on my face, the wind behind me, a good breakfast, a reward later, etc, but not really by any one specific quote.
Idol(s): I don''t really idolize anyone. I certainly look up to my parents and hope to accomplish half of what they have when I am older; I look up to my grandmother and am humbled by her patience and perseverance.
