Porter Says: “Brit is all upside. She is brand new to the sport but already moving right up the ladder. Again, coming out of CRI I know coach Curren will have her ready to race it up.”

Why Yale? “Yale was always my first choice. I had been looking into a few schools at first: I wanted to go to one of the best schools in the country academically, so that was one factor I considered. However, when I came to visit the campus on a cold and rainy weekend I loved it. The people seemed so happy, and more importantly, connected to one another and to the school. I knew that if I could fall in love with a school in such miserable weather, then it can only be better in the sunshine. I cancelled all of my other visits to different schools because I knew that I had to come to Yale.”

Quote: "There is nothing that your body would not be able to do if only your mind would let it."
