Why Yale: "You hear from every adult giving advice about college that `you''ll just know'' which college is right for you when you visit. I never truly understood how that made sense… until I visited Yale. From the moment I stepped on campus, something clicked. Then I met the students and the choice became obvious. It''s amazing how there are so many different stories from so many highly achieving people. Every person I met, I wanted to be friends with. The rowing team itself also had a vibe unlike any other I had seen - everyone wanted to compete, but everyone had so much fun doing it, and loving this high level of rigor in both rowing and academics is key.
