Why Yale? "Even though it was only an hour away, I didn''t really know much about Yale and wasn''t all that interested when my parents insisted that I go and check it out. In a weird way, I didn''t want to like it, but when I spent time at Yale talking to students, coaches, and professors I found a community that I immediately felt a part of and a place in which I would thrive at. I chose Yale because it was simply the finest institution that combined high quality academics and rowing."
