Yale

Diane Amos has been a part of the Yale gymnastics staff sincethe 2006-07 academic year. Prior to joining the Yale staff, she wasteam director and coach at West Valley Gymnastic School inCampbell, Calif., where she was the coach of two-time Olympian AmyChow. Chow was a member of the 1996 gold medal team and won anindividual silver medal on the uneven parallel bars.

Amos has coached numerous gymnasts at the national andinternational level, including many event and all-around championsat Level 10 Nationals, US Classics and the National Championships.Amos has also coached and mentored many gymnasts to the Division Icollegiate level. Three of those gymnasts are now graduates ofYale including the 2009 team captain, Ivy League, ECAC and USAIntercollegiate all-around champion, Alina Liao '09.
