Biography

Courtney Fukuda was unable to compete throughout her freshmanyear. Fukuda joined the Bulldogs from Kokokahi Gymnastics. She wasa six-time State and Region II Championships qualifier. In 2005, asa level 9, she was the Regional beam champion and qualified to theJunior Olympic Western Championships. In 2006, as a level 10, shewon beam at State, placed 8th in the all-around at Regionals, andwas the alternate for the Region II team at Junior OlympicNationals. Fukuda studied abroad in Beijing during her junior year,but graduated from the Punahou School.
