Michael Stancarone

Mike Stancarone, who began his career with Yale Athletics in 2010, is an Intercollegiate Equipment Operations & Recreation Assistant whose work impacts almost every sport.
 
Stancarone’s primary coverage is with women’s hockey in the fall and winter and the men’s lacrosse team each spring.
 
His support for Bulldog teams has helped produce a 2018 lacrosse national championship and a second-place national finish in 2019, while he worked with the men’s hockey team on its post-season run to the 2013 national title. Stancarone also worked with the Yale Football Team during its 2017 and 2019 Ivy Championship campaigns.
 
The West Haven native and former Junior Nighthawk hockey player has also served as a ranger on the world-famous Yale Golf Course since 2011.
 
Stancarone, who was a land development manager for Toll Brothers Luxury Homes before coming to Yale, lives with his wife, Julie, in West Haven.
