Brandon Lamphier-Shaffer is the head strength and conditioning coach for the Yale men's basketball, volleyball and women's lacrosse teams, handling all aspects of sports performance for those three teams. He also assists with the Yale football and men's lacrosse teams.

Lamphier-Shaffer started working at Yale in the summer of 2019. He is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as an NCSF Certified Personal Trainer.

Prior to Yale, Lamphier-Shaffer worked as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, La. He was in charge of all sports performance aspects for women's basketball, women's soccer, softball and cross country. Prior to that he interned with Yale Sports Performance in the spring of 2018.

A native of Albuquerque, N.M., Lamphier-Shaffer graduated with a Bachelor of Science in sports management from Indiana Wesleyan in 2017. He played baseball there and also played a year of semi-professional baseball in the United Shores Professional Baseball League after graduation.
