Why Yale? “Yale has always felt like home to me. I have grown up visiting New Haven for family gatherings, Spizzwinks concerts, sports events and recently my eldest brother's graduation. I am excited by Yale’s focus on engineering and the CEID. In high school, we have struggled to build large-scale robots with only a laser cutter and a drill press, so I can only dream of what I could create with a full machine and wood shop. Lastly, I am tremendously excited to work with coaches Sarah, Brad and Tiffany who are building an incredible women’s soccer program!”

Martinez on Solomon: “Abi literally bleeds Yale blue. Her passion for our institution and program is second to none. Abi is a goal-oriented person, both on and off the field. Abi is the type of player to put her head down and outwork those around her. She will immediately raise our level of competitiveness in the final third.”
