  • Interned in Dr. David Eagleman''s (Author of NYT Bestseller "Incognito") neuroscience lab and created computer programs to collect sensory data for the lab''s VoiceVest project which aims to allows deaf people a new type of sensory perception
  • Organized a charity sports camp "Kids Play for Kids Around the World" in which where all profits went to UNICEF

Before Yale: Two-time first team all-conference selection at Kinkaid High School… Team captain as a senior… Selected honorable mention all-conference as a sophomore and freshman… Helped lead Kinkaid to a pair of South Zone district championships… Played club soccer for Challenge SC 96, which qualified for the 2013 ECNL national championship tournament… Also played for AHFC 96 Blue…. Played in the South Texas Olympic Development program and attended the Region III camp three times.

Personal: UNICEF Youth Ambassador and organized a Kids Play for Kids Around the World sports camp fundraiser… Volunteer with reforestation project of Memorial Park… Cousin Courtney plays softball for the Colorado School of Mines… Cousin Maddie was a gymnast at the Air Force Academy.

Why Yale? “I applied to Yale because of the academic and the soccer, but I chose Yale because of the coaches, the students and the sense of community I felt around me when I visited.”
