Why Yale? “Yale offered me the opportunity to play college soccer while also pursuing my academics at the highest level possible. The people I met on campus felt like family and I knew that Yale could become my home away from home.”
Martinez on Kirschner: “Ashley is a goal scorer. Period. I’m not sure an attacking player would want to be called anything else. When Ashley is on the field, her team always has a chance to score. An old-school type 9, Ashley has great back to goal play, finds a way to get inside the 18 and is tenacious in her ability to lead her team's press.”
