Bailey completed his second year as a member of BrianTompkins’ staff in 2012. In his first year with the program,the Bulldogs won five more games overall than the previous year andthree more Ivy games.

At Yale, Bailey has coached five All-Ivy selections and aThird Team Academic All-American and two Academic All-Regionhonorees.

Bailey joined the Yale staff after spending two years atValparaiso. The Crusaders posted a 19-15-4 overall record duringhis tenure, the best two-season mark in program history. He tutored2009 Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year Ryan Schwarz. Inaddition, he served as head reserve team coach leading them to a20-4-3 record over two seasons.

Bailey also has experience coaching ODP and US DevelopmentAcademy teams, while also serving as a staff member at elite highschool recruiting camps throughout the country. In addition, heserves as the head coach of the Connecticut Beachside SoccerClub Under-15 Boys team.

Bailey was a four-year letterwinner at Illinois College, where heserved as team captain for three seasons. He earned abachelor’s degree in communications and rhetorical science aswell as a bachelor’s degree in management and organizationalleadership (sport) in 2008. He then completed his master’sdegree in sports administration from Valparaiso in 2010.
