Gui Dos Santos, who has been active in Connecticut Youth Soccer for many years, joined the Yale staff as an assistant coach in August 2022.
Dos Santos has been a personal trainer with Platinum Fitness in addition to serving as a coach at the Everson Soccer Academy in Woodbridge, Conn. At Everson, he trained and motivated children from 5 to 17 years of age in basic soccer skills, while promoting teamwork and good sportsmanship between players.
Dos Santos is graduate of the University of New Haven where he earned a BS in criminal justice with a concentration in investigative services. At UNH, he served as captain of the men’s soccer team as a senior, was named to the All-Rookie team in 2010 and appeared in 68 games in his successful career. In addition, he was named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2013 and the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll in 2012.
Following graduation Dos Santos spent seven years working for the Ventura Law Firm in Danbury, Conn.
