Dunnett joined the women's soccer staff in 2019. In his first season, the Bulldogs won 11 games, their most since 2005, and finished with a 4-2-1 Ivy League mark.
He came to Yale after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Fort Hays State, where he helped the Tigers win 21 games and make two appearances in the MIAA Tournament.
Dunnett, who also earned his MBA from Fort Hays State, came to FHSU after graduating from Houghton College in New York. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration with minors in Data Science and Communication.
At Houghton, Dunnett, a goalkeeper, started all 80 games of his four-year career. He has program records of 31 shutouts and the longest time period without conceding a goal (576 minutes). As a first year, Dunnett was named Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year and was a conference first or second team selection all four years. In 2016, he was named to the NCCAA All-America third team.
In addition, Dunnett was a part of the 2017 USL League Two National Champions, Charlotte Eagles. He spent three seasons with the Eagles from 2015-2017.
Before Houghton, Dunnett was a part of the Canadian National Training Centre for the Atlantic Division from 2010-2012. From 2008 to 2013, he was on New Brunswick Provincial teams and also competed for NB at the 2013 Canada Games.
Dunnett, a New Brunswick, Canada native, also coached at his home club, Fundy Soccer Association, and served as the club’s goalkeeper coach at every age level.
Dunnett holds USSF National F and United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Level 2 licenses.
