Biography

Weening was a major contributor throughout her career. As a senior she appeared in 16 games and notched an assist against George Mason. As a junior, she started a career-high 17 games and tied for third on the team in goals with four. Two of her tallies came in the season opener, a 4-1 win at UMass. She also scored against Quinnipiac and Rider. Her first career goal came in Yale''s 2-1 victory over Cornell in 2003. As a freshman she started one game and her point was an assist in the win over Wagner. Weening was a two-time first team all-league selection at Chaminade Prep. She also was team MVP as a senior and a two-time team captain. In addition, Weening played four years in the California ODP and played on the regional ODP team in 2001.
