Biography

Delvecchio missed all of the 2005 season with an injury. She made an immediate impact for the Bulldogs in her rookie year, finishing sixth on the team in scoring with eight points. She was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week after scoring in Yale''s win over Columbia and adding an assist against Rider. Delvecchio also scored Yale''s only goal against Villanova in the NCAA College Cup. Prior to Yale, she was a member of the Canadian National Team pool. In addition, she was among the top scorers in the 2003 Women''s Premier Indoor League and the 2003 AAA LSEQ Quebec Provincial League. Her older brother, Anthony, is a 2001 Harvard graduate, and she is the cousin of former Detroit Red Wing captain Alex Delvecchio.
