Why Yale? "Growing up in Hong Kong, Taipei, London and Birmingham with Kenyan parents of Indian origin has allowed me to immerse myself in cultures that initially seemed very strange but became familiar on closer understanding. I am fascinated with people and society and excited to be part of the Yale community, with its diverse international student body and foundational principle of acceptance."
