Toni Pullman, a four-year letterwinner at Brown with four yearsof club swimming coaching experience, joined the Yale swimmingcoaching staff in August of 2010.

Pullman started as an Age Group Coach in 2005 with the Bay andOcean State Squids (Boston, MA), where she honed her skills underthe direction of Joshua Stern and Timothy Murphy. In 2008, she wasnamed Head Age Group Coach, and in addition to her coachingresponsibilities, managed the administrative and season-planningaspects of the program and its junior coaching staff. During hertenure at SQUID, she guided numerous swimmers to New Englandchampionship titles, helped the team to three top-five finishes atthe New England Age Group Championships and was responsible for thedevelopment of numerous National and Junior National qualifiers. Inaddition to her coaching, Pullman worked as the Curatorial Planning& Project Manager for the Art of the Americas department at theMuseum of Fine Arts in Boston from 2004-2010.

A middle-distance freestyle swimmer at Brown, Pullman bringsextensive collegiate racing experience in the Ivy League to Yale.She was the swimming team’s representative to the StudentAthletic Advisory Committee and was selected as a Meiklejohn PeerLeadership advisor for incoming freshmen. Pullman graduated in 2004with a bachelor of arts degree in the History of Art &Architecture, and hails from Shrewsbury, Mass.
