Biography

2017-18 Season (Junior): Won 6 singles matches and 6 doubles match esover the course of the season... Made the round of 32 at the ITA Regional Championships... Named the John A. Blum ''77 Most Improved Player Award.

2016-17 Season (Sophomore): Went 2-0 at doubles… won 7-6(1), 6-3 against Boston College...

2015-16 Season (Freshman): Compiled a 7-3 overall record in singles, going 5-3 in the fall and 2-0 in the spring… Won Singles Crimson Draw at Harvard Fall Classic… Did not drop a game in three straight sets against Fairfield and Stony Brook.

Before Yale: Four-star recruit … Captain and team MVP of her high school squad in senior year … Individual single state champion in senior year … Individual single state runner-up in sophomore year … Team was runner-up at 2013 state championships … USTA Southwest Section Player of the Year in 2013 … Tucson high school invitational champion in 2013 and 2015 … Participated in Zonals Team Championships in 14s division … Southwest Zonals Teams for five years … Intersectionals and Fed Cup participation for one year.

Notes: Her sister, Courtney Amos, also plays for Yale … Has interests in drama and fashion.

Why Yale? “I chose Yale because it has been my dream school for as long as I can remember.  I fell in love with the school the first time I visited for its beautiful campus, incredible academics and the numerous opportunities that come from attending such an incredible school.”
