Biography

2022-23: Named first team All-Ivy in singles... Played predominantly No. 1 singles... In Ivy play, posted victories over Dartmouth's Chidimma Okpara and Brown's Britany Lau... Qualified for the ITA All-American Championship in the fall and won her opening round match... Selected as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete.

2021-22: Ivy League Player of the Year... First team All-Ivy singles and second team in doubles with partner Jessie Gong... Went undefeated in Ivy League play, dropping only two sets... Highlight of her Ivy season came in a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Princeton's Daria Frayman, who was ranked No. 1 in the nation by the ITA at the time... Partnered with Jessie Gong to reach the final of the ITA Super Regionals and qualify for the ITA National Fall Championship... Recipient of the Lisa Rosenblum Award as the team's most valuable player.

2020-21: Season canceled due to pandemic.

2019-20: Posted a 19-4 record in singles, including a 10-2 mark in the No. 2 position… Won two of three matches at Wolverine Invitational… Was 17-4 in doubles… Reached quarterfinals of ITA Northeast Regional with partner Raissa Lou... Recipient of the team's Lisa Rosenblum Most Valuable Player Award and the Most Improved Player Award.

Before Yale: 2014 USTA Winter Nationals doubles winner... 2016 USTA Winter Nationals 18U singles winner... USTA Clay Court Nationals 2018 singles runner up.... Ranked #1 in Texas and Gulf States, and 18 in USTA...Mary Lowdon Award for citizenship, leadership, and sportsmanship... Blue chip prospect on tennisrecruiting.net

Why Yale: I chose Yale because I immediately felt welcome and comfortable with my surroundings. It felt like somewhere where I could grow as a player and as a person. Moreover, I had never felt more at ease with a group of individuals than with the Yale Women’s Tennis.
