Why Yale? “I chose Yale because of its unique culture. Not only is the school dedicated to academic excellence, but also academic growth. Every student I have spoken with has shared their positive experiences in trying new things at Yale. Students are encouraged to explore a variety of subjects as well as nurture their passions. At no other institution have I witnessed that commitment to balance. Additionally, it’s common for isolation and competition to breed in such elite universities, but when I visited Yale, I was aware of how encouraging everyone was. The willingness to support peers and teammates really excited me, and I immediately felt welcomed.”
