2015: Appeared in eight matches...Had 10 kills and hit .304...Had season-high five kills and hit .625 in a five-set win over Cornell on Oct. 3.

2014:  Appeared in 10 matches and 23 sets...Had 13 kills and 11 total blocks...Had season-highs with four kills and four blocks vs. UCLA on Sept. 20...Had three kills vs. Harvard on Nov. 1.  

2013:  Appeared in three matches...Tallied two block assists.

Off the Court:

• Producing intern for the Sims 4 game at Electronic Arts during summer 2014
• Active member of Pi Beta Phi sorority
• Member of Hack Yale and take part in their web design classes
  

Before Yale: Tashman is a native of Atherton, Calif.  She played at Castilleja High School and Encore Volleyball Club. Her 17-under club team won the bronze medal in the 17-Open division of the 2012 Junior National Championships. In addition, her club teams have qualified for the Open division of Junior Nationals every year since she was a 14-under. Her teams also won the NCVA Power League as 14s, 16s, and 17s. Tashman was named first team All League WBAL as a senior for Castilleja, as well as Palo Alto Athlete of the Week. Her junior year her squad won the CCS Championships.

Appleman on Tashman: "Tashman gives us the ability to be taller in the middle and she is a great blocker. Her success in club volleyball has made her a formidable middle attacker. But her best skills are defending and blocking, which allow her to control play on top of the net."
