Madison (Maddie) Arndt joined Yale’s development office in May of 2019 as the Assistant Director of Development & Engagement. Her responsibilities include oversight of the annual fundraising for the track & field, squash, tennis, field hockey, gymnastics, softball and volleyball associations as well as various alumni and donor events for the development team.
Arndt serves as a member of Yale Athletics' Community Engagement & Events Subcommittee.
Prior to joining Yale Athletics, Arndt worked at the NCAA National Office as a Post-Graduate Intern in the Division II Governance department. There, she was responsible for supporting the membership’s decision-making bodies, specifically the President’s Council, Management Council and the DII National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Arndt also took part in planning multiple DII National Championships, strategic social media campaigns, and leadership development programming for student-athletes across all divisions.
Arndt graduated from Manhattan College in 2018, where she earned her BS in Marketing with a minor Digital Media. During her time as an undergrad, Arndt was a four-year varsity letter winner and captain of the women’s track & field team as a pole vaulter.
She served two years on the NCAA Division I National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representing the student-athlete voice of the Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), as well as serving as the DI student-athlete representative on the NCAA Minority Opportunity and Interests Committee.
Arndt is a native of Massachusetts, a big Boston Sports fan and is a proud alum of Central Catholic High School.
