Abby Reynolds

Abby Reynolds joined Yale Athletics as Assistant Director for Compliance and Student-Athlete Development in January 2023. She previously served as a compliance intern in the fall of 2022. In July 2024, Reynolds was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance & Student-Athlete Development.

In her role, Reynolds focuses on eligibility, recruiting, and the overall development of resources to enhance the student-athlete experience. She serves as the co-advisor of Yale’s Student-Athlete Advisor Committee (SAAC). Reynolds also leads student events such as the Unorthojocks concerts, Welcome Back event, For Change, and Study Breaks. In addition, she runs point on institutional and NCAA academic awards for student athletes, as well as coordinate compliance education for student-athletes. She also serves as the advisor to the Yale student-athlete chapter of Athlete Ally.
 
Prior to joining Yale, Reynolds served as a graduate assistant in the compliance office at the University of New Haven.
 
An Ohio native, Reynolds earned a degree in business administration and sport management with a minor in marketing from Malone University. At Malone, she was an accomplished All-Conference swimmer and broke the school record in the 200-, 400-, and 800-yard freestyle as well as the 200- and 400-yard medley relay. Upon graduation, she went on to earn a master’s degree in sport management from the University of New Haven in 2022.
