Belle Bressler joined the Yale field hockey staff as an assistant coach in March of 2024. In her first season with the Bulldogs, she helped Yale get within one win of qualifying for the Ivy League Tournament. The Bulldogs ended the season strong, winning four of their last six games. They had one All-American, four NFHCA all-region honorees, six All-Ivy League honorees and the Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
Bressler played for Maryland from 2019 to 2022, earning Big Ten regular season championships in 2019 and 2022. The Terps made three NCAA Tournament appearances in her time there, advancing to the semifinals in 2021 and 2022. She was a two-time NFHCA National Academic Squad honoree and a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree. She earned a B.A. in marketing.

Bressler spent the 2023 season playing for UConn as a graduate student alongside her sister Julia while earning her master’s degree in sports management.Â

Bressler also has experience with USA Field Hockey, including a stint as a USA U-17 and U-19 national team member from 2016 to 2018. She was part of the USA team’s Uruguay tour in 2018 and was named to the USA’s Junior World Cup roster for 2022 in South Africa.Â

Bressler is a native of Leesport, Pa., and graduated from Berks Catholic High School. She was a third team high school All-American in 2018.
