Dylan Hanson

Dylan Hanson joined the Yale staff in December 2024. He is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of external groups and rental events that use the Yale athletic facilities.

Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Hanson had served as director of athletic facility operations at Pacific University (Oregon) since February 2024. He was responsible for directing the use, operation and maintenance of athletic facilities, as well as gameday lead duties for baseball, men's and women's basketball, softball, volleyball and wrestling.

Hanson began his athletics career as athletic director intern at Great Falls Central High School in Great Falls, Mont., in the summer of 2021. He spent one year as athletic director at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County in Seattle, Wash., beginning in June 2022.

Hanson earned a B.S. in sports and recreation management, with a minor in coaching, from Eastern New Mexico University in 2022. He went on to earn an M.S. in sports and recreation management from the University of South Alabama in 2024.

A Great Falls, Mont., native, Hanson has worked with the Josh Huestis Foundation since January 2024 as an event manager for the Montana Elite Invitational, an annual showcase of the top boy's and girl's basketball high school underclassmen from the state.
