Frank Grimaldi joined Yale Athletics in January 2026 as Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing Operations. In this role, Grimaldi oversees ticketing operations for football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s ice hockey, and men’s lacrosse. He also provides leadership and strategic oversight of ticket sales operations, customer service, and ticketing systems to enhance the fan experience while supporting Yale Athletics’ revenue and engagement goals.
Grimaldi comes to Yale after nine years with the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League. He joined the organization in 2016 as an account executive, responsible for selling full-season ticket packages, mini plans, and group outings. In 2018, he transitioned into ticket operations and steadily advanced within the department, ultimately serving as Director of Ticket Operations. In that role, Grimaldi managed all aspects of ticketing operations, including system administration, pricing strategies, reporting, and game-day execution.
A graduate of Western New England University, Grimaldi earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Sport Management in 2016. He later completed a Master of Science in Sport Leadership and Coaching in 2018.
